I finally convinced people to try the new Iraqi/Turkish restaurant, and it was closed for a kitchen fire, or something. So we went to the Bosnian place I've been unable to get them to try. It's really good, the portions are enormous, and if you don't eat meat there are a few things, but not much. Also, there's cheese or a variant of sour cream on most things. Don't ask why I describe it this way, it's inescapable with my family. Anyway, the ajvar is delicious, they have a cheese that they describe as feta but it's much fresher and creamier than the usual feta. Their version of borek, which they call pita, is light and fluffy and eggy and delicious. The meat things were all juicy and tasty and the bread, whose name I forget, is crispy on the outside and absorbs the awesome, meaty juiciness on the inside. Nom.
