Today is fired.

How many of you are Skype-able?

Today: 1) Phone calls with police.  Always a good way to start the day. 2) Resolving any issues with surgery workshop am trying to set up.  #Ifeelaccomplished 3) Being told my superiors are aware of my having picked up slack which is not mine, and it is appreciated.  Nobody ever says that.  That feels just ... wow.

Being sick is an effective way to discover there's no Kleenex in the house.

Today did not start out so well, but now it is sunny out. I guess I will take that, instead.

Vancouver heard me talking about the sun, so we had freezing rain this morning.

Scientifically unprovable: a rainy day in Vancouver in the 40s is colder than a sunny day in Chicago in the teens.

Why is there more than 30 min of "shows", ads, and (immortals, when did this happen) interactive video/trivia games before you get to the movie? This makes me want to get a television and Netflix and stay home.
