This morning, we have all been required to perform family at 11 am because some people feel completely entitled to co-opt any gathering and other people are so busy trying to pretend that every gathering is some pastiche of Victoriana and a 1950's sitcom of the perfect family. Also co-dependency, also triangulation, also secondary gain.

Anybody need a psych thesis? Sociology? Anthropology? Anyone? Bueller?
