    For some reason, US presidents seem to think that traveling in Allied countries is much more dangerous than being at home — and the security at home already far exceeds anything anywhere else does.

    TTBOMK, while US President is a fairly dangerous occupation, nobody has ever succeeded in assassinating one outside the continental US.
