This isn't really much of a spoiler since the title of the episode is out there and contains the word "arachnids". It's an obviously aimed at Halloween episode and no, it's got nothing to do with the Racnoss (from David Tennant era), which was frankly a far more creative and less phobic approach to the whole thing.
