This is from last week, but there have been more and more stories about the fact that North Carolina provides a majority of the country's sweet potatoes, apparently. Except they may be drowned and rotting, now. What I didn't know was that NC provides most of the turkeys, too? Thanksgiving may be about to get very expensive. Ham won't be an option, either, since NC provides a lot of that, as well. Hope you like tofurkey? Blech.
