Further festival dining: Serbian festival.

Further festival dining: Serbian festival. I think I posted a few years ago when I went and got the all the grilled meats you could possibly eat and took pictures of the church itself, which is pretty notable for its extensively hand painted interior. This time, I just got the cevap sandwich (still no ajvar - I disapprove) and left room for all the goodies.

Specifically, two different kinds of Russian hat cakes (I love these things), plum kifli, walnut kifli, molded walnut cookie (I think these are called prace or sape); walnut stuffed, chocolate coated figs; and a selection of those wafer tortes. I particularly got a piece of the one with a close up because some witty and creative soul layered her wafers and cake and chocolate and caramel with cylindrical wafer cookies filled with chocolate so that when sliced every piece has a little face. After all the work they did, I had to get that one.
