Series 3: Duke Gardens, some magnolias. There are dozens of kinds of magnolias throughout the gardens, including plenty of the archetypal giant ones with the glossy dark green leaves and giant creamy white flowers. Those bloom later, though. I was stupid and forgot the name of the tiny creamy white cup shaped ones, but since they were in the Asiatic Arboretum, it's a safe bet they're some type of magnolia from that part of the world, or one of their hybrids.
