Anyone, no matter how prestigious, who portrays a Constitutional amendment as 'simple' or the easy fix to a problem is immediately suspect. There is no road to an amendment that does not lead through 38 state capitals. No Constitutional amendment is simple, by structural design. This one is presently impossible.
