Eru knows that Doug Jones would be a terrible choice - he's a doctrinaire liberal! The kind that gets murdering white racists convicted. Definitely worse than a pedophile who's been kicked off the bench for not following the law he was supposed to be there to uphold.
These people are doing more to make sure there's evidence of actual evil in the world than any superstitious religious doctrine ever did. (P.S. with a good and active helping hand from some really special folks on the Christian Right - oh, hey, Roy Moore!)
