With all due respect, assuming you are due any talking head person, Corker has not "debased" himself in his statements and responses to Trump. He has made it clear that even a supporter of Trump can occasionally wake up and realize that the fat is in the fire and we are all gonna burn.
If you think his expressions of concern are debasing, you have already been co-opted into the Trump world view. And that's part of the problem.
Yes, the tweetshow is a distraction, and that's a lot of Trump's game all over - pay no attention to the man behind the curtain - but the point of Corker's tweets is both to do something that the president might actually read, as well as to give everybody else a heads-up that there are real concerns, and somebody needs to not only pay attention, but start taking deliberate, thoughtful, constructive and effective action. And take a freaking risk.
Meanwhile, the GOP continues to cower and some talking heads are criticizing Corker.
