The question is: does ESPN have a detailed and clear policy and procedure on this? Is it brand new, or long-standing? Is there consistent application of the policy over time? Or did a woman, and a black woman at that, piss off the potus and potentially some wealthy white NFL owners, who may or may not be friends or at least people who donated to the potus's campaign/inaugural/whatever?
I mean, really, don't women in general just need to sit down and be quiet? And we all know how loud black women are. (This may be both editorializing and some bitter, nasty sarcasm.)
I'm pretty sure ESPN knew who Jemele Hill was when they hired her. Then again, maybe not.
