ReplyDeleteOh, Dad asked me if I could come pick him up, which is fine, but Mom wants to know why he asked me and not her.
ReplyDeleteShe has a lunch date with a friend, which usually means she needs at least an hour to change what she's wearing and get done up for a public appearance, so there's a consistent and logical reason to ask me first. But, you know.
She is taking Dad's car to the lunch date, so she has a ride for that.
Also, Dad mentioned that he might ask me to take him to lunch, and mom decided that for some reason this was unfair to me. I guess I am not capable of saying yes or no on my own.
