There are a lot of immigrants from several parts of Burma/Myanmar here. I know for certain that the owner I see whenever I go to this one stand in the small business incubator is from Arakan (aka Rakhine). Every time I hear about this stuff, I think of her. I also think about the people who own the stand called Asian Halal, because the languages they speak suggest possibly coming from a nearby region and I know they are muslim.

I wish I could ask them something because I would really like to be more informed. But I will never, ever do that. It would be totally inappropriate. I just wonder, a lot.
