This article is old, but in talking about what has happened as states turned more and more Republican in their elections, it is making me wonder yet again why people keep voting for this or staying home, gerrymandering notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, I have nightmares at the thought of what a Republican led Congress would do to the Supreme Court on top of what could happen if led by this particular Republican nominee for President. Essentially, it could abrogate the entire theory of checks and balances, because there would be none.
