Apparently a plane blew up in Somalia, and they've traced the bomb back to a laptop.

ReplyDelete- the bomb was in a laptop.
- it was a fortunate coincidence that the plane was delayed so was only at something like 12K feet, not 30K when it detonated. Apparently the explosion would have been large enough to bring the plane down at the higher altitude at which they would have been had the plane left on time.
- unclear info includes they hadn't figured out if the person with the laptop knew, or it was planted. However, also possibly person who brought bomb onboard avoided security because was or posed as disabled in wheelchair?
