I post this first to soften the future posting.

I post this first to soften the future posting. But first, an aside. Already being agitated is probably not the best time to drink 16 oz. of coffee. (((Moving on))).

My mother got me some very nice and thoughtful gifts this year. I will note that among the other things I said I needed were brazeers, but she decided that was better left to me. Go figure. Anyway, she got me:

1. A Blackadder remastered the ultimate edition DVD set.
2. The complete Dr. Who season 7 DVD set.
3. This: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/90431?page=snow-sand-dragon-package

Really, for my mom, this is huge. She paid some attention to things I genuinely like. Yeah, Blackadder is a little old (I honestly don't remember when it was even last mentioned - forever ago - and mom thinks it's "kind of like Monty Python". Well, they're British?) Close enough; she tried.

Yeah, that season of Dr. Who is past the point at which I would have stopped buying them myself (although, and I know many of you are going to go ew, I kind of liked Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, and I like Vastra/Flint/Strax, as well as Richard E. Grant, so The Snowmen is acceptable.)

Odds are there will not be enough snow to make dragons this year, but after two record winters, no harm, no foul, and it's not like this wears out.

So, she tried, and didn't do too badly, and that is more than usually happens, so we will call that a win for general purposes.
