Hair update - the clip thing works (thank you Bethany Willick), although I bear a strong resemblance to Sally from The Peanuts. Gave up and did headband when needed off face completely and discovered new fun fact - the haircut is asymmetrical, as well. Like, how, what, ide, hello? Unreal. Other news - when hair is this short, it doesn't move when you shake your head. I have never had that experience. And now I have. Didn't even know it was on my bucket list.
