I spent the last two weeks in Ann Arbor visiting my sister and Bethany Willick, Christina L Brainard, and Maggie Brazeau and Mark Brazeau. I came back to ... something. But nevermind that, because I got to do the following:

- ate buckwheat pasta in a creme fraiche and shallot sauce with fresh asparagus and morels (mmm, morels) at Jolly Pumpkin
- see Avengers
- see all the AGOT episodes
- ate at this amazing middle eastern place - Zamaan Cafe - not your usual and delicious! even had "Turkish" coffee with cardamom in it
- ate delicious Korean food at Arirang
- ate delicious food cooked by Bethany Willick
- ate delicious grilled food by Maggie Brazeau and Mark Brazeau
- spend time at Zingerman's and Crazy Wisdom Tea Room
- take care of and get abused by 3 rescue pets (cute to be provided later)
- meet an adorable new puppy (yay!)
- have breakfast at Zeff's with Christina L Brainard - nom
- study and read a lot
- have breakfast at Zola Bistro - where they do not make menamen/shakshuka like I have ever had it - I like there to be some liquidy, saucy stuff to require bread for sopping up, and I like my egg yolks to be runny - tasty, but I would not have called it by those names
- play at Paper Source - still a dangerous store to me, but I stocked up on about 20 different LePens! I have a sad, sad love for LePen and want there to be even more colors. I am an unwell person
