Listening to slightly more rational talking on npr in the car, it seems that there are some identifiable thought patterns out there. One of which is that this is a single isolated incident involving two isolated individuals. The other of which is that it is not isolated on any level, but representative of an infinitely repeated biased pattern of attitude, behavior, and action. And that, right there, is the crux of some awful and awfully long standing problems.
My brain is seriously slow right now, so I am going to ask a dumb question. Could you give me a specific example of "back-projection from the next step in the most commonly associated arguments"? I know I was being very general, and trying to describe what seem generalizable trends in what I was hearing, but I'm gonna go ahead and ask anyway.
