Dinner tonight: Lemon crepes with a choice of three fillings - raspberry rhubarb, pineapple orange, apple cinnamon. Yes, it's all from scratch. Dicing pineapple into tiny little pieces is a pain, btw. P.S. I used butter.
Details:
The crepes had lemon zest in them.
The raspberry rhubarb sauce was that plus a little sugar, cooked and pureed and sieved (for the rasp seeds) separately then combined.
The apple cinnamon sauce was just thinly sliced Honeycrisps and cinnamon, sauteed in their own juices.
The pineapple orange sauce was finely diced fresh pineapple cooked down with cranberry orange flavored cognac (left from the cookies I made) and orange juice.
