Final Detcon1 post, much delayed.
Final Detcon1 post, much delayed. Several pictures from the con suite, day pics of bridge to Canadia, evening pics of sunset. Followed by rooftop photos of casinos in Windsor (and barely visible searchlight lights that were quite bright in reality), and fireworks over the ballpark.
Had a great time overall, got to see Bethany Willick, Christina L Brainard, Megan Frank, and my sister and niece. Met the Scalzis (way too normal and sociable), Helen Greiner (co-founder of iRobot), Jacqueline Carey, and others.
Had totally unexpected and very uncomfortable creeper issue. Very much hope it ended with the con. Would have been completely unmarred, but for that.
