Everyone Is doing the same season, apparently, so we are seeing Measure for Measure. This time it is set in Vienna ... Texas.
The set has Yorick's Mercantile and Macduff's Billiards, etc. you get the idea.

OH GOD... You are seeing the country western musical version of Measure for Measure. I have heard of this. It sounds awful. Like, just shoot me now, awful. I would love to hear what you thought.

ReplyDeleteNice set. The Houston Shakespere Festival did Much Ado in a Spainish-Colonial Mexico period that was . . . completely unnecessary but cute, I guess. I've seen/heard of a couple versions of Taming of the Shrew as a Western that were quite amusing.
