Today we have already assisted with tree trimming, screen door fixing x 2, and new lawn mower unpacking and running.

It is a ridiculous, expensive, battery operated thing that my mother decided was the only safe thing other than an old fashioned push mower. She is really nervous around gas engines and electrical cords. Thing is, those have relatively simple on/off set ups. This thing has all kinds of push this, press that, lock those - all in the correct order to use it. Plus, it is kind of large and while it goes forward easily gets stuck going backwards because of the rear skirt. I will have fun teaching my mother how to use it. "fun"
On the upside, it does cut the lawn nicely.
P.S. I was informed I put the cuttings in the wrong outdoor garden waste bin. Because the 4 equivalent bins are apparently not exactly the same. And this is very important.
My mother never collected the grass clippings and would not allow them to be collected by rake or otherwise when she had control over this. However, she is still not comfortable putting mechanical things together so it was me and my dad putting together the new mower and my dad and I were like heh, we have a bag, we're collecting the clippings.
P.P.S. My mother has now grudgingly allowed that clippings being collected is ok. BUT ONLY IN THE CORRECT BIN. smh
