Definitely. Besides, he noted that the reason they haven't ever had to lay anyone off is that their rate of attrition due to retirement or other things has been enough to allow them to manage not to. Then there's the bit where they have started to use robots and he straight up says they aren't hiring anybody, they're planning on robots. If enough people keep baking to keep them in business, that is.
ReplyDeleteJiffy mixes aren't bad in and of themselves, especially for smaller families. I kind of like the cornbread. They are great for food drives.
ReplyDeleteOh we used them all the time growing up because they were perfectly cromulent and they were inexpensive. I would still use them now if I was doing that much generalized baking.
