It's because of that paper that got published, which somebody mentioned or linked to an article about or something. Anyway, DO NOT LOOK FOR THE ARTICLE if you are at all arachnophobic. It is full of gifs. Gifs that are full of the critters in question.
I mean, if you aren't terrified, the gif at the end of the article is cute. It posits the response of a primary source to the suppositions of the paper. Anyway, it's an interesting thought exercise.
