Well, that's a remake probably no one saw coming. (The original was part of the ok for the kids to watch Disney videos, and I have been overfond of dragons, even goofy cartoon ones, since I was but a wee lass. Plus it's kind of fun to know who Jim Dale is in retrospect.)

    The existence of this movie makes my husband livid. Not just that they remade a perfectly good movie (because he refuses to believe that anyone would have a problem watching a "classic" Disney film), but because they "modernized" the story, too - removing some of the Victorian flare he loved. I personally don't think I'd make it past the opening scene, so this one is going to be a big NOPE for us.
