So we may have accidentally made apple beer?

So we may have accidentally made apple beer? Because some yeast seems to have snuck into the cider, and now it's all yeasty and tastes like, well, beer.

  1. Your cider is becoming hard cider. Happens if you don't pasteurize it. As long as it's tasty, it's a all good!

  3. I don't imagine you've ever had hard cider that wasn't filtered and artificially carbonated, either. But yeah, it's a whole different animal. I like it, though!

  4. Oh, yeah. It tastes like kind of a light, fruity, wheat beer. With naturally occurring bubbles!
