Haven’t figured out how to do multiple pics on MeWe yet, so here’s yesterday. Local creek and waterfall with spray formed ice on trees and roots with the waterfall forming and washing away some of the ice simultaneously.

Yes, that is a Tom & Jerry in a carnival glass Tom & Jerry mug. Also a beef on weck. It seems anymore you can get good beef lots of places but the rolls always come up short in some way. I like caraway so I expect to have at least equal amounts of caraway and salt. Not gonna quibble about what kind of salt or the fact that nobody seems to have a proper hard roll kimmelweck. The important thing is that this place serves Tom & Jerrys until April, rather than stopping at New Year. Drinking before 5, amiright? For trivia buffs this is a place where Anthony Bourdain ate and I presume had it on one of his shows.

This is a sfinge. Deep fried, airy, crispy outside dough with ricotta and candied citrus peel. In this case with sprinkles and a cherry on top. Also called zeppole in various incarnations. This is my favorite relatively recent photo of me and my dad. It's at Rocky Mountain National Park, somewhere above 11,000 feet. It was windy, obs. My dad was as photo averse as most of us, so I don't have a lot of pics of him, and fewer with him, but I have a very few from places we went hiking together. 💔😢

So, yeah. The interview part of this article is reasonable and makes sense. My reactions to the main story went from how could anyone be this stupid to duh, obvious how. The stupid about semantics over “robot” versus “secure video technology” versus FaceTime or whatever is that when the family says they got talked at by a robot they are telling you something . Maybe odd question for all and sundry who might know. My sister and I have voice mail messages from our dad we hadn't deleted from our phones and we'd like to save them more permanently. Is there a way to do that?

Aside from ragey flailing, I thought there was case law establishing that society gets to have an overriding interest about not abusing children by withholding appropriate and necessary medical attention? This child needs to be vaccinated. What are we supposed to do? Wait until he dies? Parents who let their children refuse chemo for cancer have been dragged before the courts and chemo is terrible to go through. So, yeah. My innards may not be fully functioning but it’s a fundraiser for hospice so I figured I had to at least try one. Lots of chocolate chips and ricotta. The filling is made fresh each day by a local Italian bakery. Have to say it’s a tad rich although not overly sweetened. The crunch from a cannoli shell would add some texture that might cut a bit of the richness. It also might work well frozen. For some reason sometimes sweet things seem better frozen. So it’s definitely a good variant donut but extremely rich.
