So, yeah. The interview part of this article is reasonable and makes sense. My reactions to the main story went from how could anyone be this stupid to duh, obvious how. The stupid about semantics over “robot” versus “secure video technology” versus FaceTime or whatever is that when the family says they got talked at by a robot they are telling you something. Iow, “robot” contains all the alienation and lack of compassion they felt because people just didn’t think before they did this.
