Mom's on form. So, not extra toxic, just the usual. To wit, a light bulb was flickering in a lamp. She tells me she fixed this problem by putting the bulb in another lamp where it works fine but clearly I should clean the contacts in the now bulbless lamp to fix why the bulb flickered. I ask if she noticed any black stuff on the bottom of the bulb where it would touch the contact when she moved it and got a lecture for it - the bulb works in the other lamp, obviously the bulb is fine, don't question me, etc. I said maybe we should check and make sure it's plugged in properly and apparently that's some kind of accusation, not suggestion. Meanwhile, I really have to get a picture for you sometime when she's not around. 'Cuz I took a cursory look while being told off.
