Things which are not reassuring. Mom saying, "They're electricians, they should figure it out," when it turns out that there are unlabeled or missing labels on the breaker boxes. This is pertinent because Dad gave up arguing and Mom has hired electricians to do some unnecessary redos to the outside lighting. It occurred to her last night that she has no idea if they will need the power turned off in various places to do their work. I am involved because she meant to be here all day but then ended up with something she wanted to do while they were here and neither she nor my dad will be. Other fun things I have discovered while looking at the breaker boxes with my dad after the above. Some of the labels that are there were modified by my mom because she couldn't understand them, per her. So there are labels like "The kitchen is not on #X" by breaker number X.
