Good lord. I went to get some cleaning stuff and other sundries at the store at 1pm. Should have taken maybe 30 minutes. Apparently, everyone just decided it was the holiday and they are all there right now! It's insane. The lines are insane, the traffic is insane. It's like someone secretly declared a french toast emergency. It took an hour and a half. Craziness. #happyholidays #csb

Recipe things that frustrate me: The ingredients list something, but in the body of the recipe it leaves that something out. Sometimes this is not a big deal, sometimes it's a major pain. #csb

I am avoiding the house and there are things I have to go home and do. #csb

I had trouble falling asleep, but I slept just under 7 hours and woke up tired. Which is totally unfair, because I should feel loads more energetic than nights where I wake up every 1.5-2 hours and never quite manage to stay asleep. #csb

Ok, I thought the reason I felt enervated was because I hadn't eaten, again. That's what happened yesterday. I felt logy and then realized I hadn't eaten, ate, and voila. It isn't working today. #csb

Ugh. I have new glasses and they are making me sick. I've been pretty lucky since having to start wearing glasses, but this pair is giving me that wonderful why am I feeling dizzy and nauseated? ooooh, riiiiight thing. I've decided I will try the time honored wear them a little longer each day thing, starting with shorter periods of time wearing them to see how that goes. I managed to wear them for an hour today before I got actively sick to my stomach. It's going well, yes? Sooo nauseated. #csb

I met a schnoodle today. It is a cross between a schnauzer and a poodle. I don't know why you would need to cross those two, but it is a hyper, cute, perpetual motion machine that would not stop jumping. It was like a Jack Russell, or something. #csb

Here's a big surprise: evaporative cooling doesn't work when it's 90+% humidity outside. Thanks, Kool Tie®. Ice packs on your head under your hat work surprisingly well, though. Brought to you by yard work. #csb

Argh. Temps too hot even at night. Not going to see any fireworks. #csb

There's apparently still a Chuck E. Cheese's somewhere around here but that may not be for long. They keep having to call police for fights and violence. I thought they were for families and kids? Then again, I didn't know they had liquor licenses, which they are taking away first before they just force them to close. #csb

There's so much cottonwood fluff it looks like it's snowing. #csb

I wish I could have stopped dead in traffic, caused an accident, and taken a picture, but I'm a conformist. There was a very large, deep pothole in the middle of the road that had filled partly with meltwater and was full of sparrows taking baths. It was like the ultimate #birdonit #upcycle #repurpose #hipster pothole. #csb

I have a headache. I've had one off and on for a while. I am grateful headaches are not a thing that I generally have to live with, and it's not even like it's severe. #csb

Well, poo. It was all sunny this morning and now it's getting all cloudy and it's going to rain. #csb

I want lard for making crispy cookies, but I am not even sure where to get decent lard. Iow, lard that does not taste like pork. #csb

Menthol works really well, but there's a point at which it starts tasting really awful. #csb

Either I'm getting a cold, or I'm allergic to something that pollens in the fall. Ever since we turned off the AC I've been sneezing and getting that scratchy throat, stuffy head, sort of sore stuffed ear thing going on. #csb

You know how I didn't sleep the other night? Today, not the day after the insomnia, I felt really tired around 3:30/4:00 pm, plus I had that literally heavy feeling, again. Like, I feel like I'm being pressed on by extra gravity. So I took a nap. I think it helped? #csb
