Dad's in terrible pain, again, and had to have an in-office surgical thing yesterday, is going to have an outpatient procedure Dec 22, and is probably going to have to have chemo or radiation or surgery or a combo for some other crap, part of which decision depends on the other surgeries and treatments he's had and can't interfere with each other and which side effects he can tolerate and what new permanent disability he'd like to have. I can't really fault him for the super negative attitude, but it's really wearing. Meanwhile, Mom is nuts, again. She had to get new hearing aids and they insisted that she just had to get used to them and they had turned them down as much as they could. Really? I don't think so. She can hear her hair rustling; when she ate green beans it sounded like squeaky cheese - inside her head. And she has lost something because she's become overwhelmed and disorganized and it's probably not quite a...
