Not in baking, no. I mean, you will still get a slightly different flavor than butter or fake fat (aka Crisco), but its purpose in baking is to be as neutral in flavor as possible while adding the marvels of cooking with a saturated fat (flakiness, crispiness, etc.).

I bought some pretty good leaf lard in a jar from a place near me called Pure Pastures. I don't remember the brand...this isn't really helpful.
