Paula’s latest special, the Oreo donut. Chocolate crumb coated white frosting under white angel cream dusted with chocolate crumbs. It’s not bad but it’s not brilliant, either. Honestly, I’d rather have a chocolate frosted chocolate angel cream filled donut. If I was going for chocolate and angel cream.

Now, if they want to take one of their chocolate cake donuts, slice it in half, fill it with white angel cream, frost it with chocolate and a curlicue of white frosting and call it Hostess, well, that has the seeds of brilliance.
