CNN says Mueller team says Buzzfeed is wrong. So I guess we’re in the timeline where it turns out life is junior high/middle/high school forever.

Link? I'm struggling to recall when an actual member of the Mueller team has ever made a public comment to the media on a news report, so this would be quite a surprise.

Yeah. Mueller never says anything so this is weird.
