I was wondering why this popped back up now, but the Tolkien racism business is apparently not new so much as back again as a compare and contrast to our current events. Meanwhile, hadn't heard of this author but the Tor article makes me think it might be an interesting collection to read. Especially as it may contain a chicken Jesus. Are any of you familiar with Andy Duncan's writing?
