My butt was on TV!

My butt was on TV! My butt was on TV! Me and my niece, in fact, for two whole seconds! It's at 1:53-1:55. But the whole piece is worth watching in regards to refugees and their economic impact. Hint: it's positive, contrary to Steves Bannon and Miller.

Also, this is the West Side Bazaar, which is a business incubator for refugees through Westminster Presbyterian, which is the church my dad worked with in one of their programs to help refugee kids learn (like, at all since many had never had the chance to go to school), tutor math and reading, and catch up to being in the public schools. Even help with a little music - in my dad's case he's a pianist.

  1. Most of your profile. Just the front third is blocked. I'll assume the woman blocking that third is your niece.

  2. I would assume the refugee angle was why you watched this in the first place? As in the local TV stations not informing everyone whose butt (and then some) is on TV?

  3. Also, now whenever someone tells you "You look familiar?" you can tell them: "I've been on TV."

  4. Lol. We saw them filming in the neighborhood and talking to some of the vendors so we figured we might have gotten caught in a shot but that wouldn't guarantee you were in anything that made it to air, and nope, they did not get releases from any collateral individuals such as ourselves.
