My sister and niece came for a couple of days to help out. I thought that might help my mom relax and not be so anxious. Instead, she has amped up her behaviors to eleven. Like, seriously? Apparently all her children are competition or an annoyance because we don't just run around focusing on her, what with her being the unwell person, and all. I just, wow.
I keep feeling like I am a terrible person for thinking and feeling as I now do about her, and yet she insists on proving me wrong. The mind boggles. Truly.
