Everything about this story is wrong. Full disclosure: I'm kind of irritable, right now.

Everything about this story is wrong. Full disclosure: I'm kind of irritable, right now.

1) What the frak is it with people thinking they can just film other people and post other people's lives online? Would they really want someone to do that to them? (See older story about spoiled brat who posted a naked photo of another woman in the gym locker room, as if her body was never going to age.)

2) Corollary: Why is it that it's always about mocking everyone else and thinking the meanest, worst possible thing about a total stranger as if you were some kind of anonymous deity dispensing social approval or disapproval judgments? Would you want people to do that to you?

3) Is GoFundMe where the anonymous hordes go now to expiate their extremely temporary concern about sins and purchase indulgences? Does giving money to a GoFundMe make everything all better so we can all go on our way and forget about the individual humans we mocked and the social or other problems they may have suffered? Did we make it all better for a few bucks online?

4) At what point are we going to have laws passed that disallow this kind of nonsense (the strangers anonymously photographing others and posting about them without permission)? Something with an actual penalty might be nice. Like having to volunteer at a homeless shelter, or clean toilets, or help with garbage collection.

These strangers are people, not objects for your amusement or use for attention and 15 seconds of internet fame.

5) Seriously? "Consequences" for shaving on a commuter train? Really? He didn't pee on the train, he didn't dump garbage on the train, he didn't take up three seats to himself when other people were standing. He just shaved. Ayfkm? It's not like he was texting and driving, people. Get over yourselves.
