Catch-up posting: Tried a different local donut place. They had this 'tropical delight' - pineapple filling with coconut topping. The pink color is just because that's how they roll?

Anyway, filling was bland and only minimally tasted like pineapple, although it clearly had pieces of pineapple in it, and you could barely taste the coconut on top. You did taste the pink colored plain white icing, though. Also, the donut was a little bit greasy and also kind of flavorless.

I give them credit for trying something creative, but it leaves me doubting whether I will try their banana cream or other creative donuts.
