Well, I mean, I am surprised that people are finally paying serious attention to this abuse and how often it happens in this culture and that they might even be doing something vaguely appropriate about it.
But that it happens and gets the Mad Men treatment? Nah. Seriously. Everybody knows. Anyone who says they've never heard any such thing in the industry is completely suspect.
If they ever get around to stopping the other kinds of abuse that happen (verbal, mental, emotional), well, then I will be surprised.
