  1. The holes in my retina, I’m pretty sure, are from Intro To Welding class in university. Although there were lasers in my youth as well, & I was a fucking moron.

  3. I used to freak people out by grabbing a laser pointer and shining it directly in to my left eye. It's already blind, so it's not like I'd notice the change.

  4. (The damage to my left eye is not on the macula, thank god — I only really notice it when I’m reading. I get to see, in the corners of my eye, a pattern of three curiously shaped grey flecks dart back and forth across the page as I follow the text from left to right and back again)
