So much for walking by the river. Went down there, thought, gee, the cottonwoods are pretty bad here, too. Realized that those aren't cottonwoods, that's a space station! that's a swarm of sandflies! Refrained from vomiting, turned car around without stopping and drove away.

I mean, the various birds and waterfowl seemed pretty happy with the Alaskan permafrost style buffet, but I ain't walking anywhere I gotta have a net to keep from literally ingesting bugs just from breathing. * shudder * If it's bugs or #chublife, I'm all about the chub.
