I'd say #lolOklahoma , but this isn't really funny. As far as I can tell, the law isn't very specific, it just keeps repeating about not violating the religious or moral beliefs of the adoption agency.

Based on past behavior, people are probably not over-reacting, though. In fact, I'm sure in the past a religious objection or moral objection would also have disqualified anybody non-white and certainly interracial couples. I'm offended that "similar" laws have been passed elsewhere, too.

It's hard enough to get kids adopted but that doesn't mean you make a bargain with the devil and allow discrimination because otherwise adoption agencies would close down. Those agencies become suspect to me if their answer is no children will be adopted if we can't help just the ones we like. Interesting morals, there.
