Apparently, g+ has decided it will no longer send me notifications, or let me know in any way that there's something to notify, and the only way I can see them is if I go through the side menu thing on my laptop. Thanks, g+.
Probably another A/B test to find out whether people interact more or less with the medium without notifications. Either things will revert to normal, or this will become the new normal. Big companies do this all the time. I see it on Duolingo so often that it's not even funny, and we know Facebook is labratting its userbase like crazy. It's so I hardly believe a bug is unintentional anymore unless it dumps hex code on the screen.
