The problem is Trump and the GOP made their own beds. Instead of coming out strongly and openly against Russian interference, but spinning it as not affecting the outcome of the election, both politicized it and used it to attack Obama and his administration, Clinton and the fact that shes breathing, and a bunch of other stupid moves. They could have easily had bipartisan investigation of Russian involvement without turning it into this.
Plus, it's nice that they want to warn us about the likelihood of continued attempts to interfere, but it's them, the GOP, that keeps blocking efforts to do anything. If you won't let anybody do anything to stop it, at what point are you not only part of but responsible for the problem?
