When I was little, my mom used to sing us to sleep. She has a nice voice and we used to really like that. She's recently started just singing around the house randomly and I hate it. It's like nails on a chalkboard. I'm sure there are reasons why that's my reaction, although I'm not keen on thinking too much about it at the moment. But I absolutely hate hearing her sing.
