According to CNN’s sources, Kushner feels that the security clearance changes have been directed at him, and has asked colleagues, “Why is John Kelly doing this?”
If the above is true, a) yes, dear, everything is all about you - including running the country, b) because occasionally, Kelly does his job and puts the country above personal or political garbage.
I can't decide if this makes him whiny, clueless, narcissistic, or just not terribly smart? I mean, he has to know this is a power struggle. He keeps playing that game. He just appears to be losing this time.

It's not all about Kushner, but in this case.... it's at least partly about Kushner. This looks like Kelly taking Rahm Emanuel to heart: Never let a good crisis go to waste.
